This page is designed for admitted undergraduate students and hopefully has plenty of information you may have questions about. If you feel something is missing or have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail Patrick Durbin in NHS:  ptd@georgetown.edu, (202) 687-8439.  Your parents can call too if they have any questions.

Yes, you can!

Because of the diverse offerings and curricula, students within all of these health programs are able to study abroad, complete minors, conduct research, and/or be pre-med. If you have any questions, please email or call Patrick Durbin.

Come visit campus

We will be having admitted student (GAAP) weekends in Spring 2009 on March 27-28, April 17-18, and April 24-25. Please visit http://gaap.georgetown.edu for complete details. And if you are unable to come to one of these GAAP days, but want to plan another trip, simply call or email Patrick Durbin.

Talk to Current NHS Students

Interested in STUDENT GROUPS and CLUBS?

Our Center for Student Programs has many different types of clubs and activities to get involved with, whether it is for 1 hour a semester or 1 hour every day. We have cultural, social, regional, sports, dance, media, social concern clubs and many others. Georgetown also just completed the Davis Performing Arts Center.

Interested in VOLUNTEERING?

Please visit our Center for Social Justice website to see the existing groups and to find to how easy it is to start your own group (if Georgetown doesn't have it already).

Interested in playing SPORTS?

Want to play sports at a competitive level, but not in the NCAA? Then check out our club sports. Club sports are competitive and teams practice multiple times per week. They also travel regionally and to national tournaments. They're much less intense than an NCAA team but much more competitive than intramurals. If you're interested in beginning a new sport or just having fun, we have plenty of options from which you may choose.

Interested in RESEARCH?

At Georgetown, there are hundreds of opportunities for research. From the Discovery Center, our new research labs that opened in January 2006, to working in the world-renowned GU Medical Center to working with leading experts at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), there is a place for your to get involved in projects large and small.
